Blackbirds - Orioles - Euphonias

Manuel Antonio Nationa Park in Costa Rica is home to a diverse range of bird species, including the Blackbirds (Turdidae), Orioles (Icteridae), and Euphonias (Fringillidae). These avian species are an integral part of the park's tropical ecosystem. Blackbirds, known for their glossy black plumage, are primarily insectivorous and can be observed in the park's forested areas. Orioles, characterized by their vibrant yellow and orange plumage, are frugivores and often found in the park's trees, feeding on a variety of fruits and insects. Euphonias, small finches with bright, contrasting colors, play a significant role in seed dispersal and are often spotted in the park's lower vegetation. These species contribute to the ecological balance of the park, enriching its biodiversity and offering valuable opportunities for scientific research and birdwatching.
